Case BooDog: Entrepreneur in the PET sector tokenizes brand expansion and sells 100% of NFTsin less than a month

A commercial success, BooDog’s non-fungible tokens were created with KLA Invest to
accelerate brand expansion. Collection enables buyers to become e-commerce partners.

BooDog’s first collection of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) sold 100% in less than a month since
launching to the public.

In addition to the sales success, the company was the first in Brazil and in the world in the
segment to adhere to the NFTs.

The company’s tokenization, carried out by the also Brazilian asset manager KLA Invest, served
to accelerate BooDog’s expansion.

One of the differentials that instigated the public was the fact that it was a crowdfunding
tokenization; in addition, the purchase of NFTs allowed brand supporters to become business
partners along with Alessandra Tiemi Miyada, founder of BooDog.

Among the buyers of NFTs, there are also investors from outside Brazil. This is another
advantage for companies looking to tokenize.

With payment even via PIX, the collection sold 100 units and included the acquisition and
participation of 50% of the corporate shares. It was sold with a potential return of up to 200% on
the amount invested.

All people who acquired the NFT KLABD, as it was named, will be part of the composition of a
Special Purpose Entity (SPE), duly registered and managed by KLA Invest.

The head of marketing at KLA Invest, a resource manager specializing in the blockchain industry
and the tokenization of existing companies with excellent financial health, celebrates the
achievement and guarantees that there is still much to be done with BooDog and the world of
digital assets .

“The collection with BooDog was extremely special, Alessandra has a contagious passion for
PETs and for the company and selling the purpose of making it grow even more was not difficult.
It already carried innovation in its DNA. This is just the beginning of our projects together”, he
says.

After the first initial public offering (IPO) and first investment in blockchain, BooDog and KLA will
continue with new goals. This time, it is the opening of the brand’s new factory.

“Here, investors will not only be investors, but “owners” of the operation. The famous “smart
money”. As soon as we spoke with Alessandra, we created an investment strategy that was not
just about putting money in and out”, argues Rodrigo Dias, the company’s strategic director.
He adds that introducing clients to being more of a “partner” rather than an “angel investor” is
more exciting for all parties.

“This way, a recurring revenue is created and an even greater affection for the brand”, he
concludes.

In addition to BooDog, KLA Invest is preparing to launch another tokenization project. Now, in the
solar energy segment and with lifetime shareholding for token consumers.
